After years of working within the insurance industry, we realized a change was necessary, WE needed to BE the change. With extensive experience as an Adjuster, Consultant, SIU, and Fraud Investigator, one truth became undeniable: insurance companies do not prioritize their policyholders. To them, insured individuals are nothing more than numbers, and their sole focus is profit, regardless of the type or size of the claim.
Having worked with nearly every major insurance company, it became painfully clear that this was an industry-wide problem. Through self-reflection and accountability, we understood that continuing to work for insurance companies was no longer an option. Being part of the problem was unacceptable. Inspired by a moment of moral clarity—like a scene from Jerry Maguire—we walked away.
A firm decision was made to use the tools and knowledge cultivated over years of experience to create solutions instead of perpetuating problems. Guided by a moral compass, we became Public Adjusters. Through the mentorship of an industry veteran, we learned how to transform years of insider knowledge into meaningful advocacy for policyholders. With this expertise, we proudly "wear the white hat" and stand as advocates for fairness and equity.
During our time on the insurance side, we often heard negative narratives about Public Adjusters. While there are some who fail to prioritize insureds, these bad actors do not define the profession. Unfortunately, some contractors and representatives engage in shady practices, compounding the difficulties insureds face. Additionally, certain states have laws that disadvantage policyholders, making it even harder for them to navigate the claims process fairly.
Insurance companies further complicate matters with convoluted claims procedures and poorly trained adjusters. Even highly experienced Independent Adjusters are often restricted by programs that dictate what they can write in estimates, regardless of what the policy contract actually covers. Without knowledgeable representation, insureds face slim chances of achieving full indemnity—restoring their property to its pre-loss condition.
When an adjuster meets an insured, it’s often after a devastating loss to what is typically their most valuable asset. The claims process, however, is far from straight forward; it’s a minefield designed to favor the insurance company. While insurers know where the mines are, policyholders are left to navigate blindly.
This adversarial system is inherently unfair. Even the "nicest" carrier adjuster operates under guidelines designed to minimize payouts. Many adjusters lack adequate training, rely on unsupported statements, and enforce decisions with a "because I said so" attitude.
Policyholders deserve better. They deserve someone who knows where the mines are and can guide them safely through the process—or better yet, walk the minefield for them.

A public adjuster is a licensed professional who exclusively represents policyholders during the insurance claims process. Their goal is to ensure the policyholder receives a fair settlement based on the terms of their insurance policy.
Company Adjuster: Employed by the insurance company, their loyalty lies with the insurer, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.
Independent Adjuster: Contracted by insurance companies to handle claims but similarly serves the insurer’s interests.
Public Adjuster: Works solely for the policyholder, providing advocacy, expertise, and negotiation to secure the maximum settlement.
Public adjusters possess in-depth knowledge of insurance policies, loss assessment, and the claims process. They ensure that claims are documented properly, deadlines are met, and settlements reflect the full value of damages. Without one, policyholders may face reduced payouts or overlooked entitlements.
True indemnity means restoring your property to its pre-loss condition without additional financial burden. Public adjusters advocate for this standard, ensuring your settlement covers all necessary repairs and expenses.
Without professional assistance, homeowners must manage their claims themselves. Lacking the expertise to interpret policies or negotiate settlements, many feel outmatched. This imbalance can lead to frustration, financial losses, and prolonged resolution times.
